You didn't miss anything major. The new show is getting great reviews but people are saying it seems like a farewell tour. The electricity went out in Camden twice at Jenny and Shelby's show, it rained like crazy in Atlanta and VA Beach. Jordan is pushing to win Mr Twitter. Otherwise, nothing major.

Ok...so I'm finally uploading all of my pics to Shutterfly, will get to more later, if I don't lose my mind. It's raining here, AGAIN! My kids are driving me BATTY, well the oldest one is anyway. Don't get too sad about the farewell tour part... people are only saying that it feels like that, no that it has been said. I feel like they would say "final tour together" if it truly is the last, but who knows?!!

I know exactly how you feel about just going to one show I want to go to Cincy SO bad! I did some research and found a radio station that is giving away tix the entire week of the 22nd, each hour every day. I am going to try to win, and if I do I'll take you if you agree to take me if you win! I haven't even been to my show yet...30 days away!! And I'm already questioning our decision to go to 1 show. We were planning on going to the show the next day but its a 6 hour drive and decided we would rather go to Napa and do a bike tour. What were we thinking????

Ok, here's hoping my kids let me do this! LOL

So Sunday afternoon we go to Fairfax around 4:30ish and had to find somewhere to eat. We ended up going to Brion's Grille which was right across the street from the venue and where some from the "other" boards were having the pre-show party. We walked in and it was like NKOTB central. It was really funny because you could clearly tell which people were the ones that were NOT there for the show. Our dinner was ok, service was a bit slow but only because they were obviously overwhelmed.

We headed over to the venue around 6:30, walked right in, noticed some buses just a bit over from the door we used, but wanted to get in because we both needed to potty. LOL So we got in and our seats were pretty good! Except we sat in the wrong row at first and had to move up one. While we were waiting, doing some people watching, we realized that the people in front of us and a row down were 4* and 5* people!!! We were up on the side about 10 rows up...if I were them I'd have been FURIOUS!!!

Jabbawockeez were GREAT, of course! But we were there for the MAIN event!! Our boys ROCKED it!!! My cousin and I had so much fun!! I LOVE the new opening. The entire show was fantastic, but it seemed like they weren't as talkative as in the past, it was more about the music. I really liked the changes they made, but wish they had left some things alone. I don't like change, as a rule.

I took TONS of pics and even some vids. I don't know how to explain this, but it just feels like it's all coming to an end...like this is a farewell tour. They NEVER said it was, I think it has to do with the fact that I know this is the end for now and they aren't up there saying "see you in the fall, in the spring, etc."

Melody, we may just have to find some cheap seats and go! I can't fathom them being an hour and a half away from me and NOT being there. We got invited to a wedding that night and I haven't returned the RSVP yet b/c of the concert. We aren't exceptionally close to them. It's a friends sister so no one would bat an eye if we weren't there......I'm going to check out the cincy radio station thing.


My mom and I had a good time. It wasn't the nicest cruise we've been on but it was a break. We went to the Bahamas. Nassau and Freeport. The weather could have been better too. It rained some everyday and was cloudy a lot. We still had time to lay out and go to the beach but not that bright, stunning sunshine. I just have a couple pictures. I think I only took 7 the entire time I was gone. I didn't take my camera many places. It was nice not to have to lug a bagful of things around since I didn't have the kiddos. Here's how I spent Saturday:

I hate that yall are all talking as if it is the END. I am expecting a break until Spring of next year but not the END.

I just keep telling myself to remember that they all have "day" jobs too. Donnie has a TV show that has gotten picked up and I am sure they might want him to show up to film it.(ha ha- I am sure the cast and crew are not going to be expecting the 1000 of blockhead/soldiers that will be there also).

My husband has agreed to go to a show with me since all my NKOTB friend are flaking out on me- so I think we are going to go to the VEGAS show. I am still looking up ticket prices and airfare. I am not sure we can "swing it" financially. So I am trying to get everything in order to see IF it will really happen or not. But... My husband will be going to the show with me. Kind of worries me, he is going to be miresable which will dampen my excitement. We will see, I am sure I will get over it quickly once I am there. ha ha

So I MAY get to go July 11 in Vegas and Dallas July 17 (twice in one week- still have not completely ruled Houston out on the 18th) It is only a 3.5 hour drive for me.

Karen, I'm glad you had a great cruise!

I'm going to be posting some pictures between tonight and Thursday. I can't believe I'm going again on Saturday. It was orginally just me and my cousin (she hasn't seen them yet!) but then my sister decided she wanted to go again (this will also be her 5th show) and my SIL and my BROTHER decided to go. Yup, my brother. Oh, this should be interesting.
