Disembarkation timing

Hi all. We're on the Fantasy disembarking Port Canaveral on Aug 20, 2022. The ship is listed to arrive at 7:30am. How do they time the disembarkation? Can I make a noon flight out of MCO? What airport transportation do you recommend?

At PC, DCL recommends not booking a flight before 11:25AM. Personally, unless flying a route with multiple flights on the same day, I wouldn’t book a flight before 1PM, even if, in the past, we have made 10:30 flights (once barely).

There can be technical problems or long lines at immigration or car trouble that could require a bit more time than usual. If all goes to plan, you’ll have to wait in the airport for a while. If not, you’ll be happy to have a buffer.

For transportation, the easiest is the DCL shuttle. It becomes cheaper to use another option if there are four of you or more. As a family of three, we prefer to just hop on the shuttle.

Thank you, that works. May I ask another question...what is the latest you can disembark? When do they need you off the ship? I seem to remember 10am? I'm thinking I might rush out and let my family linger as their flight wouldn't be till later.

They will start rounding people up 9/9:30. They cannot begin to prepare some of the things necessary for boarding new passengers until the ship is zeroed out. And there are lots of people just as eager to get on as you were.

So for avoidance of doubt, on the Wish, if I was planning on a 5 PM train departure at sanford, I'm not going to have any issues? Thanks, first timer here

Absolutely no problem with regards to getting off the ship in time. By 5pm that same ship is preparing to depart with another full load of passengers.
