That stinks... I hope everything is ok with him! I've always enjoyed his tweets, and thought DisDates was just THE best idea. Was so happy when he took over the old Dismates. Not that there seemed to be any Texas guys there, but just seeing so many single Disney folks in one place gave me hope. I know there are a ton here too, but it's harder to sift through everything else and find time to chit chat.

I agree 100% on all of that. The lack of Texas guys was a bummer, but I did make a good friend out of it all. I just thought it would be a blast to find someone who loves Disney as much as I do and understands how it's my happy place. It's so hard on here... too much to look through... no way to sort and search... sigh.

I completely agree, too!! I don't get to get on the boards as often as I'd like and it's hard to keep up!!
Does anyone have any new new on Disdates? It was my best shot at finding a disney loving prince!!

I got an mail today with my new "matches" so when I got home tonight, I went to the website and it appears to be back to normal.

I tried it earlier this afternoon, and, sure enough, disdates appears to be back! I did some further updating only profile, but the only trouble I've been having is trying to upload a picture for my profile. Other than that, it's great to see it back online though.

Don't tell my neighbors but I was born in Akron. I escaped to the South many years ago but only went far enough that I avoid snow. I had to stay north of the gnat line. Too many bugs in South Georgia and Florida.

Ever notice there aren't many bugs in WDW? I guess they can't afford the tickets.

I have put in for transfers, and did interview to head our office in the Orlando market. But no luck yet. I keep trying.

LOL. . .when I was in Vegas, I kept trying to convince our Hospital's corporate office to buy into the Florida Market. They never would though. . .lol. So I eventually had to do it on my own. But I do have an advantage. Being a nurse makes finding a job a bit easier.

You would think. I believe that its because of the economy more than anything. Not being in the fund raising business I have NO IDEA.
