DisDates?

I tried to get to DisDates the past few days, and it appears to be completely gone. Is it just me, or is it down? Was there news on the site that it was going down? I can't find the page on Facebook anymore either.

Me too. I contacted Cosmis Reid since he promotes them on Twitter and he was supposed to be finding out what is going on. I haven't heard back from him yet.

Doing a little research....disdates.com is registered with GoDaddy until July 2011. The record was changed on Oct 27 2010, is that the day it began to have problems? It is currently available for purchase for $500.

I just noticed last night. I only checked the site about once a week lately unless I had a wink or an email. I asked what was up on Twitter but got no response from the site or owner.

Hey everybody,

'Cosmic' Chris Reid here. DisDates was a segment sponsor on our radio program, Cosmic Reid's Starlight Cafe. The admin was a great guy who even traveled last-minute to WDW to meet Jess and I for our big Boardwalk Bakery meet in June 2010.

Here is the odd part: I have been unable to reach him for a couple of months now, as his sponsorship for the program is coming to an end. I know he is aware the sponsorship is ending, but I still haven't heard from him. His personal Twitter account has been inactive since Oct 24, when he returned from a WDW trip.

If I hear anything I will let you all know.

It is definitely not like him to just vanish like this. I'm praying he is alright and that for everyone's sake, the site can get up and running again soon.

Thanks for the info Cosmic Reid. I'd also noticed the owner's absence since the 24th. It's unusual for him to not reply to tweets. He even replied to me some while he was at WDW. Sounded like he and his DDs had a blast. Hoping he's just busy and we'll hear from him again soon.

Very sad to see that it disappeared.
I liked going on there to see other fans.
Sadly none of the younger guys really got on a lot and I never really got any interested guys.
*sigh* I try to get on here alot and post, but I more look it seems then anything else. I never really have anything to talk about and I can't ever seem to think of anything to talk about.

We were up to about 175 men and 280 (ish) women!! Plenty of people!!

Go to the site and there's a godaddy thing there about buying it. However, moving it to your site would take having all the data that John has. He's @DisneyDadNY or @DisDates on twitter. Maybe you can contact him there about changing the info over to you?
