Discovery Island

A post I read a minute ago reminded of something I saw the other day. I was staying a the Wilderness Lodge with my family and while sitting on the beach reading numerous managers and at least two imagineer types (by that I mean they had Disney IDs but were wearing jeans and polo shirts) headed off to discovery island in one of the wildernesses pontoon boats. They stayed on the Island for at least an hour and could clearly be seen on the beach that faces WL looking around and pointing at things. Perhaps something will finally happen with that property.

Last visit a CM at Wilderness Lodge told me there are still some critters there -- sorry can't recall if he said what type. Perhaps these animals need occasional looking-after?
