Just thought I'd mention that the Discovery Channel's HDTV network is running Walt Disney World Undiscovered several times this week. You can visit their web site for the dates and times.
I don't believe the schedule for this network is included in many of the Internet guides.
I caught the program last night and have to say that it was absolutely stunning in high-def. Widescreen picture. Amazing picture quality.
I also believe that they added some new content to the program. Discovery HD will usually only show one or two 30-sec commercials per hour (for Circuit City), but the WDW Undiscovered program still clocked-in at about 53 minutes. Without commercials, a typical one hour TV program is only about 43 minutes long.
The one noteworthy part that I didn't remember from the Travel Channel version was a large segment on the WDW monorail. They showed the monorail paint shop, maintenance hanger and track switching system. They also showed the new computer control system for the trains themselves, and talked about riding in the front car.
Is my memory that bad, or am I correct in thinking that the above was not in the Travel Channel version? IMO, this was the best part of the entire program.
