I wear contact lenses, and can't see too much without them! We're going to DC next month (can't wait!), and I wondered if anyone could tell me whether you're allowed to wear goggles or ordinary glasses when you swim with the dolphins? What I'm really hoping is that there won't be too much splashing, and it'll be OK to wear my lenses! How likely is this, especially when you're being towed by the dolphin? Can anyone help me out here, please?
You are given a mask in your kit which they actually encouraged us to put on although mine stayed on the top of my head throughout the encounter beause my face never went underneath the water. You could wear yours over your eyes as a precaution - I doubt they would let you wear glasses as they do not allow anything that could be potentially hazardous to the dolphins.... can people who wear specs verify that?
