Discovery Cove?

Hi Everyone , Is it warm enough to do Discovery Cove in Feb??, we will be there from the 6th through to the 23rd.

The water is heated except where the dolphins are and they provide wetsuits. We have been there in November. Just make sure you opt for the shorty wetsuit and not just the vest. - Trust Me

Oh yes - that dolphin pool is very very cold - and we went in May - you're probably better going at a time when the air temp is cooler as the water won't feel quite as cold - but prepare for a shock!

We did it in January..... end of the month. We were there for a week.. .and picked what we thought was the nicest day to go down.

Agree on the full wetsuit...
thank god the sun was out- because a cloudy day in january could be cold!!!
The snorkling area was NOT heated.. and it was shock at first

but crowds were low and it was a blast

We went in the month of May 2006, the water is cold. I opted for the wetsuit, it wasn't too bad. Hubby used the vest, was a little chilly!
Have fun, it was one of the best experiences we ever had.

Another great Dolphin encounter is the Dophins in Depth tour at EPCOT! It is wonderful! We have done both. If you want a great day at a tropical water Park with lots of encounters with water life and birds, Discovery Cove is the way to go, if you just want an experience with Dophins and don't care much for spending the rest of a day at the park, the Dolphins In Depth Tour is AWESOME!

We went there in February this year, and it was fine. The swimming area was bathwater warm. A bit cooler in the areas with the critters, but not bad. You are soon distracted away from the temperature by the beasties in the water. The required vests work as designed. We had a sunny day, and it was warm baking in the sun by the poolside. We had a great time.

We went in March last year and it was great. It's a risky time to go because of the rain season, but we had a nice warm and sunny day!

Yup went the first week of Febt his year and Loved it. I say go for it.

I went in mid March, it was cool, but very worth the chill!
