I'm a bit confused about how you actually book your day at Discovery Cove. I have bought all of our park tickets and with 6 weeks to go I thought of maybe stretching the cash a bit further with a couple of DC tickets. however, I went onto a site (can't remember which now) which sold tickets and there was a message saying "june/july and august" sold out, but when i tried to purchase (well - check availability) there was no where to enter a date.

We are going 24 august to 8 sept, how do i find out the availablity for a day in september?

Also - what happens if is raining all day, can you go back the next day???? This worries me with spending so much on a one day ticket.

Have you actually tried the discovery cove website?

Ive just checked dates for 1st through to 8th september and they have avalibility for everyday.

Just beat uz,Jules :D

I've heard they offer a change of visit if it's raining on your booked day, Julia Ann, but can't say what the criteria is and assume the re-arranged date will be subject to availability. There's an e mail specific questions facility on their website so maybe best to ask them - and post their reply so we all know!

Hi Julia Ann, just checked & the good news is only 24/8/03 & 25/8/03 are booked up, you can go any other day. Click on the link to start your reservation (or to check availability), then click on Make Your Reservation Now.

Hi Julia,
I've just looked at the Discovery Cove website and it has availability for all of your holiday.I don't know how many of you are going but I checked for up to 6 people.

Personally I would book direct with them either on the website above or phone them on

1-407-370-1280 ( I think from England it's 001 407-370-1280)

I did it in Feb this year and it was worth every single penny and more!

It's $229 direct with them.

Zoe

Edit: Oops too slow:o

Hi,

We visited Discovery Cove last October. We swam with the dolpins at around 12:30. The weather was gorgeous and the water was freezing lol. Towards the end of the day there was a terrential rainstorm and alot of people, including us, left the park. On our return to the UK we heard lots of stories from people who were supposed to be swimming with the dolphins but were told that they couldnt because of the bad weather.

We never actually found out the truth behind this but alot of people have told us that if you miss your swim due to bad weather then you are unable to take it again.

Hope that helps :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
