I want to do a discovery cove, seaworld, and universal trip and I don't really know where to begin. All help is appreciated. Thanks

We are doing this in September. I think first you should decide when you want to go. Having no idea what your budget is, it's hard to give advice. We usually stay onsite at Universal for the Express Pass which you get from some of the hotels (not all of them). If you stay 3 nights there is usually a discount. We buy our Universal tickets from Undercover Tourist. We are staying at Universal first, then moving to a Seaworld Official Hotel, which gives extra perks (I think there are 8 of these hotels). They give free Quick Queue for Seaworld and some food and merchandise discounts. Book your Discovery Cove day (which I assume you know gives you free admission to Seaworld and Aquatica for multiple days). When we booked they were offering a 5th night free if you paid for 4, so you can be on the lookout for deals. Then read these boards for more ideas. I booked a Dine with Shamu meal from some recommendations here. There is a lot of good information in the pinned threads at the top of each forum.

One thing I've done with both trips to DC is that I scheduled DC at the first of our trip and on a weekend. The crowds are limited so you don't have to worry about the weekend being more crowded than a weekday. Also if you see the weather is going to be bad, you can reschedule your DC day if they are not full. After DC, you can do Sea World and Aquatica as many times as you want to go during the next 14 days. (you can go to SW before DC also, you just have to show your ticket) There are a lot of nice hotels around the international drive area that you can stay in. Most are just a short distance to SW or US. I personally hate checking in and out of multiple hotels. There are lots of nice restaurants in the area without paying park prices. Ubers are cheaper than parking. There is also a trolley that runs around the International Drive/Sea World areas. Schedule at least 2 days for US/IOA.

OP, what time of year were you planning on visiting?

How many are in your travel party, and what are their ages?

Where are you staying? (at an official hotel of SeaWorld, onsite at Universal, offsite?)

How many days do you have available to you?

That information will make it much easier for us to offer you some recommendations for making the most of your Seaworld/Universal vacation.
