Discovery Cove - Rain?

Howdy Folks!

Well, simple question, what happens if it rains at discovery cove or the "Marine Mammal Keeper Experiance", is it called off or just tough luck?

Hi. We were there in Sept. and it did rain pretty substantially around noon, and it became cold and miserable, it was even worse inside because they had the air conditioner on and we were still wet from the dolphine encounter. We left, but ended up coming back into the park after the rain stopped. I am so glad we came back because we did the stingrays and aviary.

Doesn't really answer your question but it did rain in the afternoon we were there, they had everyone out of the water and in under shelter so it was lucky it wasn't too early in the day because we had gotten in everything we wanted to by then.

Hi, my brother & his family went last year & it threw it down all day, they ended up leaving early & on the way home the taxi driver told them that DC will let you go again if you get bad weather, so they rang DC when they got back to their hotel & they got another free day there but without the dolphin swim (they had managed to do that on the rainy day though).
Dont think DC advertise this!!!

It seems like a lot of $ to pay for a one day experience if you get stuck with cool temps and/or rain. We are going to Orlando in December and really want to go to Discover Cove but am worried that we could get a cool day. Maybe for heavy rain, but I doubt DC would let you come back again another day if it is just cool. We just spent three weeks in Florida and the temps ranged from 57 to mid 80s. i wouldn't want to book it and then have a day in the 50s!!!!

Any thoughts as to if DC would let you come back due to cool temps???
