What should on wear on my feet at discovery cove? I was looking at water socks, but I dont know if that's enough? Water shoes provide more sole but they are heavier. Do you need shoes? What did y'all wear?

Either should be fine. The lazy river is the biggest toe-stub / rough bottom culprit, but it's nothing a light layer on your feet won't solve.

We wore cheapie water socks from Walmart. They were more than enough to save our toes....from the hot pavement, and from the roughness of the bottom of the lazy river.

We went barefoot. No problems at all. But, we are South Florida born and raised and probably have tough feet from being barefoot and running wild at the beach/pool.
