This will be our first visit to DC . What do you do about your camera and how do you get pics! I realise they take some and charge the earth for them.

I wondered if you could perhaps get one of those waterproof disposable camera's and take that in to the water?

we took waterproof disposable camera's, the pictures were great and as we had a couple just used them up taking photo's in the pool at the villa, you will not be allowed to take them into the water with you if you are doing the dolphin swim, there you have to rely on the official photo's, which are good and you get to preview them before you buy. You will have a great day at DC we have been twice now and it was well worth every penny.

Hi Lynda

We took an underwater camera with us which we got from Boots before we went.

Although you are not allowed to take them into the dolphin pool we found it great for the lagoon. We took pictures underwater of the fish and they came out really well.

You will have a locker allocated to you which you can leave everything in until you need it.

The pictures and video which they do for you are good but expensive. One picture 8 x 6 and 4 keyrings a video which shows you everything about DC and then the bit of your family on the end cost around £55.00. We knew that this was going to cost this before we went and therefore prepared for it unlike some there who got a bit upset at the cost and didn't buy them.

DC is fantastic, the food was good. Definately would do it again.

Hi Lynda. We bought waterproof disposable cameras (and pool shoes which IMO are essential) from WalMart prior to our Discovery Cove day. They were needless to say really cheap from there. As we were a party of 6 we opted for the PhotoCD which had most of the Dolphin Encounter photos on plus some general views of Discovery Cove as I thought it would be good for scrapbooking. The CD was pricey but I have the slideshow running on my Mac most of the time and it's just wonderful - a great reminder - so I am glad I went for it.

DC was the best day! I'm not an overly confident swimmer and had never snorkelled before so the whole experience was esp magical for me. I can't wait to do it again.
