We were thinking of getting DC Ultimate tickets with the dolphin swim option, and including SW, BG & Aquatica. But the kids have now seen the 'trainer for a day' package. Does anyone know if this is worth the additional cost and how would it work if the whole party didn't do this option (ie just the kids). Also can ultimate ticket be upgraded to include this or would it have to be bought seperately?

Never done it so I dont know if its worth the extra £100 each. Places are limited to only 24 a day so you will need to book asap.

Also if your children are under 13 they will need to be accompanied by a paying adult.

We did Trainer for a Day in 2005 and found it very interesting but it is a full day with little time for relaxing.

Here is my trip report.

As has been said it will cost extra and it others in the party don't do it there is not alot of time to meet up during the day.

DC do do a package for TFAD with SW/BG/Aqu as extra.

When we were there it was 3 groups max in a group was 8 so total of 24 and I don't think this has increased.

From DC website TFAD plus the 3 other parks is between $518 plus tax and $538 plus tax, per person, depending on the time of year.
