Discovery Cove Grand Reef question

My family is going to Discovery Cove in September. I don't know much about the Grand Reef. I do know there is an extra charge (60 dollars, I heard). Do you have to pay the extra charge to get in the water in that area at all? What is included with that charge? Will they still have the regular coral reef where it was before? Any information you have will be appreciated.
 
My understanding is nothing has changed, The Grand Reef is in addition to all the other attractions. There is no charge to snorkel. If you want to do the Sea Venture thing where you wear under water helmets and walk on the floor then that's extra. :cheer2:
