Discovery Cove discount thru aquatica? Quick help needed.

I think I read somewhere that if someone buys an annual pass for aquatica you can get a significant discount at discovery Cove. I only have two days available and my husband and son want to go to discovery Cove and aquatica without sea world. As there are only three of us, Can someone in the know tell me how to get this discount and if it is worth it to do it this way and simply buy two additional aquatica tickets? And is there a discount to do that somewhere as well? As our trip is in mid-January anyQuick help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

One annual pass for Aquatica is $108.

DC admission for passholders (with the dolphin swim) is $169 pp approx. I will assume your date is available for that price.

Your total for three people (one day at DC, one day at AQ) would then be $108 + $169 + $169 + $169 + $28.50 + $28.50 = $672 plus tax.

It looks like regular price for DC (which would include unlimited SW & AQ for 14 days) would be $229 pp. Your family of three would total $687 plus tax.

Your difference in price would then be $15. So to reserve with the AP saves you $15, plus parking at Aquatica (it will be free as an AP holder), plus you'll save in the park on food and souvenir purchases with the standard AP discounts.

Paying regular price would give unlimited access to Seaworld and Aquatica versus just one day at AQ as priced out above.

You can secure a DC booking as a passmember by calling them . They will confirm availability for the passmember rate for your date, and get you all set to go.

I do have to ask, however, is it possible to find out if my day is available prior to buying the pass? Also, does this pass give discounts for the cabana at aquatica as well as the $399 experience at discovery Cove?

Thanks for the kind compliments on my trip report . I will admit, I get a lot of satisfaction out of the pursuit for great vaction deals.....its like a sport for me!

If you call DC, they will be able to verify that passmember admission is available for the date you select (and what the official discounted price is for that date). They may even be able to facilitate the purchase of your AQ Annual Pass at the same time you book your DC day with the passmember discount (its all the same company.....all owned by Seaworld Parks & Entertainment).

Your AQ AP will definitely get you a discount on the Aquatica cabana rental. I don't believe it gets you a discount on the DC package upgrade, but its worth asking (I know passmembers do receive a discount on the SeaVenture, though). The worst they can say is no.
