I DID IT! I DID IT! I DID IT!

I called at 6:59 a.m. and I was talking to an AWESOME rep named Natlie in 20 seconds!!! 20 seconds!!! Can you believe it??!!???

Everything went great, I got every reservation we wanted.....it was perfect. It was like Natalie was in the MATRIX, she navigated the system lightning fast, with no problems, and also added extra tips and insight.

I have to say, it was a bit stressful at first when Lesley was just sitting across the room staring at me and hanging on my every word. She had a great gameplan and I just executed it.

So, now she has me calling DVC at 9:00 am to try to work some other kind of magic. More on that later.

Thanks for all the support, and like another DISer said, I just closed my eyes and used the FORCE. The FORCE flowed through me, or maybe that was just the coffee?!?? Who knows!?!

I just caught up on your PTR! AWESOME!!! Now I'm hooked and I'll be following the rest of your planning and your TR!

CONGRATS Tim!! I must say, I can sympathize with you. My mom or aunt has always been the one to make our ADRs...but I'm married now, and planning our first trip (we're going by ourselves). So I'm a little freaked out! Any tips?

One more thing...Lesley, do you have the links for your old PTRs? You've talked about your tip envelopes and laminated notecards and all kinds of stuff like that. Since I'm planning the entire trip for my first time, I'll need all the tips I can get!

YES, I am SOOOOOOOOO Proud of Tim!!!! Not ONLY for scoring on our ADR's, which he TOTALLY ROCKED!!!
But............... HE ALSO GOT US SWITCHED TO BLT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!! We are going to BLT from Oct. 23-27th. WOOHOO!!!!

Oh my gosh, you got your ADR's AND you're staying in BLT?! How awesome is that?!

O.K, so if you read the previous posts you know that Tim was under a LOT of pressure because he had to make our ADR's due to the fact that our ressie day fell on a Monday and I had a meeting at work early. Well, HE ROCKED Not only did he get the ADR's we needed for the first part of our trip but he ALSO scored Bay Lake Tower Studio Lake View for our October Trip (Oct. 23-27th!!!)

So, this is how it went down. Thanks to Diane (ddsrunner) who I just LOVE (Hi Diane : ) Tim was able to get through RIGHT AWAY WITH NO WAIT. She had given us a secret to skipping through all of the voiceprompts and getting to an agent quickly. He dialed at 6:59, used the numbers she told us to hit and I almost fell over when I heard him ON THE PHONE WITH A CM AT 7:00 AM EXACTLY!!!!
AMAZING!!!!
Also thanks to Diane, when he was making our ADR's she tried to make him stop at the end of our AKL stay, when we still had 3 more days of our "plus 10" since it is 90 days plus ten days for ADR's when staying on property. Well she told him since our AKL stay which she put into the computer for the phone call ended on the 28th she couldn't do any ADR's beyond that. Well AGAIN, thanks to Diane I knew that there was a way around this. The lady Tim was on the phone with was awesome and he didn't want to offend her but he very nicely kept telling her that we knew it was possible because a friend was able to. AFter about 10 minutes of her doing research, HE WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!
So, we now have June 21st-July 1st booked. We can't call back until March 31st. Here is what we have so far.

Arrival day: Hollywood Studios June 21st
Sci Fi a LATE dinner. (I don't understand it but Sci Fi is impossible to get into, he tried and tried and they had nothing most days for lunch and dinner and this one is AFTER 7:30, WHAT THE HECK Luckily our flight isn't there until 4:30 anyway so we'll get to the park late and this time will work this day.

June 22nd: Magic Kingdom Morning/ Epcot Evening
Crystal Palace 8:10 ressie
Liberty Tree Tavern for Lunch (I can taste the pot roast and ooey gooey toffee cakenow)
Tepan Edu dinner (YUM!)

June 23rd: Animal Kingdom Morning/ Hollywood Studios p.m. (Fantasmic)
Yak and Yeti Lunch
Mama Melrose dinner (NO Fantasmic packages to be found, oh well)

June 24th Epcot Morning/ Magic Kingdom Evening
Boma Breakfast (never eaten here!)
Chef's De France Lunch (we've never eaten here) I am so excited about this because of Remi being there, have you seen the pics or videos of this?? If you haven't, check out this link:

1900 Park Fare dinner (Can't wait, haven't been since the addition of the step mother and sisters, YEAH!)

That's all for now............ didn't he do GREAT!!! Can't wait for feedback. Wish us luck on March 31st when we'll call again for the rest of the trip. I'm worried about the OHana's ressie on July 4th the most. I still can't get over the way Sci Fi is so crazy this year, what is UP WITH THAT???

OMGosh! I am so jealous of your ressies!! You are eating at so many great places and got some really great times.

This is the 3rd or 4th post I've read about Sci-Fi being crazy with ADRs. What's the deal?! I hope it slows down before July when I can make my ADRs.

Great ADR's!! Boma is one of my favorites for dinner. I do not remember the names of a lot of the offerings but everything is so good!! We are going to Boma in May but are trying breakfast for the first time. We also have an 8:10 breakfast for Crystal Palace which we love & we are doing Mama Melrose for lunch on our DHS day. And celebrating our 24th anniversary at Le Cellier (for lunch, (could not get dinner by the time I booked). You have some great ADR's!! Cannot wait to see the rest.

Really great ADRs, and really great choices! RE Boma, CP raves and raves, Don't get her started on the Zebra Domes! we have only been once for dinner and really liked it! The buffet has all sorts of interesting and flavorful dishes... It is a neat atmosphere too! Congrats on a great score and for the 31st! A repeat performance ??!!

Now I am wanting to book a lunch there too....the boys LOVE Ratatouille! Is he only there during certain times? Would love to keep this as a surprise!! Looks like we are in the same parks on alot of days and together at Boma! What time is your ADR for Boma? The CM'S at Boma are awesome, they stand behind the pods where the food is and will explain ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to you!! The restaurant can get noisy but we LOVE the atmosphere and the service has always been top notch!!

Diane, did you check out that video of Remy, just too cute for words, I can't wait to see the kids faces. He is supposedly there 12:30-6:00 pm daily (I think that's what I read) so for us lunch will work out best. They do have a hamburger there at lunch which is how I convinced Tim I'll look up the ADR time for Boma but I believe it's around 6 or 6:30. Can't wait to try Boma!!!!

I've heard of the Sci-Fi ressie issues on another board, as well. It is perplexing to say the least!!!
