Discover Disney promo question

If I have a Florida Resident Annual Pass, can I buy tickets with this promotion for my (under 18) grandchildren (who live out of state and are staying with us in early June)? Or would they expect that I buy the Discover Disney ticket as well?

By the way, FYI - Animal Kingdom park is blacked out for May 27 to June 9. (the promo dates end June 9).

Yes you can buy for your grandchildren. You will have to show your FL ID.

You are mistaken about the dates and the black out however. Those were the 2017 dates and blackouts

This is this years deal which goes until June 24th and does not appear to have blackouts

It says "all adults must show proof of Florida residency" children under 18 are not adults, and based on what I've read here in the past, they do not need to prove Florida residency. I think Disney likes to have grandparents bring their grandchildren and spend a lot of money.

Yep, you can purchase them for your grandkids. When we lived in FL and had APs we took our son and his two friends who lived in FL for a long weekend. The other two boys were also FL residents but because they were only 13 and 14 they didn't have ID. When we got there to buy their tickets I asked if we could purchase them FL residents tickets even though they didn't have ID. The CM told me that as long as one adult is a FL resident they can buy FL resident tickets for anyone under 18.
