Hi, I am new to the board. I am looking for information on discounts.
Which is generally the better discount. AAA, FL resident, or Annual pass. Also some people talk about getting e-mails. How do you get these e-mails.
I am looking at the beginning of february. This is a value time, can we assume there will be some type of floirda discount. Actually looking for a great rate at Wildernss lodge.
Any info will help. Thanks in advance.

I will assume that you are a FL resident and you would get the best discount as a resident most often. One thing I would recommend is to get the FL resident seasonal pass ($230) blackout dates are Easter week, Christmas/New Year's Week and the summertime. Times of the year that residents could probably do without anyway and you get all the perks as an annual passholder including discounts on hotels. FL residents usually get around 50% off of the rack rates at the deluxe resorts like WL, AKL, Y&B, and BW. And to get those great rates on the WL you'd have to travel outside of those blackout dates anyway. I don't think that Disney has to offer any discounts to fill the WL on December 24th.
