Discounts with annual pass

I purchased an annual pass in November 2015 but for some reason I'm still able to get an annual pass discount when I purchase items from the Disney parks app. I was also sent a new set of annual pass magic bands this year.

When I looked at the back of the AP the only dates listed says 2016-2017.

Is there some type of promotion happening that even though I don't have park tickets I am still getting the 20% discount at places that accept it??

Did you activate the ticket in November 2015? If you bought them in Nov and didn't activate them until April 16 then they are still good. It could be a glitch that works in your favor.

Yeah I did activate them nov 2015. I'm thinking a glitch too.
