Discounts on 2-bedroom suites at BWV?

I was just wondering if anyone has been able to receive a discount on a 2-bedroom suite at BWV using a general discount code? I know the codes are usually good for rooms at the BWI, but I've never heard if it's possible to use, say, a 40% discount code on a 2-bedroom suite at the BWV.

I was able to use the Free dining pin at BLT for a 2 bedroom villa.

I got an email with a pin number for free dining for dates from mid August - September.

Tink, did you have the reservation first, then added the PIN, or was the PIN offered and that acted as an incentive for you to make the reservation?

I often wonder if you go ahead and make a reservation and hope for a discount, why would Disney bother to send you a PIN after that?

I did have a reservation but at WL. I added the pin to my WL ressie when I got it. Later I switched to BLT and I was able to use the code there too.

We had a reservation for a one bedroom at the BWV & were able to apply the free dining code with no problem.

My TA said that we would be able to use our 40% discount on a villa.

I have been able to get a room discount at either SSR or OKW but they would not let me use it any other DVC resort.

If you want to get a good deal on a BWV 2 bedroom and do not already have one of those handy 40% off PINS, look at the DVC rent/trade boards here on the DIS. DVC members who cannot use their points for the year rent them out for great prices. If you are staying Sun-Fri then you can get a REALLY good deal! Check out the point calculator on the WDW Info page and find out how many points you will need and find someone on the rent board that can help you out!
