Hi, my wife and I are planning a trip to Disney in late April, and would like to stay at the Boarkwalk or the Yacht and Beach Club with a few of our friends. We are looking to stay there for at least 6 nights, but the 2-Bedroom Villa is so expensive! We are both annaul passholders, and would like to know if anyone has ever used the AP discount on the villas. Thanks!!!

I know I have seen the one-bedroom discounted before. I am also wondering if the 2 bedroom can be discounted? We are going with my parents next year and they snore BIGTIME... LOL

I think I saw them discounted, but not a lot of dates for the 2 bedrooms.I've seen them discounted over at SSR and OKW, I'm not sure about your DVC choices.

You might try looking over in the dvc board are, there is a section on renting points from current members. I think the current cost is $10 a point, you'd have to figure out over there how many points the nights you want are, to calc the cost. To rent points is way cheaper than the AP rate, although it involves risk because you have to trus the other person. Make sure to do lots of research over on the DVC section before renting to protect yourself.

We have an AP rate on a 2-BR at OKW in January for a weekend. The AP rate for the weekend is a better deal than renting points because the point values are so high on Friday and Saturday.

if you aren't staying fri or sat - then renting a reservation from a DVC member is a good choice.

I think AAA also has some discounts on 1 or 2 bedrooms.

BWV and BCV - are the DVC resorts with 1 or 2 bedrooms.

the ones at the Yc are definitely suites - all deluxe resorts have suites - but talk about expensive....

Discounts on the 2 bedroom units at the BWV and BCV are very rare. Since so few are available for cash, Disney doesn't usually need to discount them.

Your best chance of a discount on a 2 bedroom will be at SSR - since the resort isn't sold out yet, the developer (via CRO/WDWTC) offers the unsold inventory for cash rental.

I currently have a AAA discount on a one bedroom at BCV. I'm trying to rent though if everything works out. It is a much better deal. Will probably keep my AAA rate for the weekend nights
