Hi everyone,

My family (2 adults, 7yr old son, and 8yr old niece) is going to Universal from March 17-25, and staying at the Royal Pacific Resort.

About 9 months ago, I purchased the week-long 2-park tickets for 80.00 per person.

Since the original reservation with a regular rate....., I have called several times to receive an AAA discount, then the Length-of-Stay discount, and finally...I'm using the Supersaver discount.

My room is a 2 queen bed, water view, club-level room. Final price (Supersaver) is 220.83 per night.

All over the boards/internet...I'm seeing discounts (kids eat free, pay for ___and get ___ free, and other discounts). Loew's emailed me something stating there was a discount of $500.00 of free food at the hotels. I'm gonna be honest....I cannot figure out what the best deal is. Would someone please help me out.

I don't 'think' I am in a value week.

Any help would be appreciated...along with opinions.

Thank you in advance.

can you write out the cost per each promo you found out about and if anything is included in it?

and, do any of the packages have tickets tied into it?

the supersaver rate is generally the best anyone can get.

i know loews has specials out there for guests staying a certain number of nights to receive a $100 credit for their stay. credit being able to be used on food and beverages but not applied to room rate charge. i have not heard of the $500 credit. what i received by email from loews was the $100 credit for staying 4 or 5 nights.

club room cost more than the other standard rooms.
pool view is also an increase over standard view rooms.

how much more is the club room for your ressie?

did you book already with this promo?

I think you've probably got the best deal. I find that just plugging the dates into the www.loewshotels.com website pops up the best deals out there. You don't have a value week so that deal isn't there for you.

I haven't heard of any $500 credit either. If I were you, I would call Loews to make sure you have the best deal.

So I did as you suggested to see if my rates had dropped any and the club room I already have booked at a SS rate is no longer coming up with a price. Does that mean that the club level SS rate I got for my trip is the best I'll see (and sold out)? Just curious.

My guess would be that the room is sold out at this time. I would keep watching though since sometimes rooms are block booked and then suddenly appear at a different rate.
