Discounts for April 2010

Do any of you think Universal will offer discounts for April 2010?

We are hoping to go during our April break, but there doesn't seem to be a discounts available past Dec. 09.

A few years back we stayed at HRH and loved it, so we are hoping to stay there again.

Where there any discounts last April? If there were do you remember what they were and when they came out?

With the crazy flight prices unless there is some kind of great deal we'll be staying home.

I'm waiting too for April deals! I've heard that they tend to come out in January. Our TA said to pay attention to what WDW is doing, b/c US will often have a similar deal, and right now WDW is only going through the end of March. I agree about the cost of flights right now- they're astronomical! But, don't panic yet...it was the same last year. I looked at my notes and the prices (Southwest) were about $220/each way around this time and we ended up getting our tickets at the beginning of March for about $180/rt from the New England area- so I'm hoping history will repeat itself this year!

It will be so hard to wait until March to book for an April vacation. We are hoping to go our April school vacation, which is already looking like all the cheap rates are gone on SW.

I just looked and I made my first booking on Feb 20th- I only made it for one way, then kept rebooking as the prices got lower and using those credits towards our return flight which I booked in March. It's a crazy game, but it pays off!

Check the rates and dates 2009 thread for last year's rates. April tends to be a month of high prices.
