There has been in the past. We were there the week of Easter this year, and a code came out in November of last year for almost all of spring break weeks. We stayed at POP for $79 a night with the code vs. $134 without it.
Yes, it would apply to any of the resorts, but they only have so many rooms set aside for the codes, so you have to be fast. They can apply it to an existing reservation. I am using Dreams Unlimited for our trip in Sept, and they will actually check on this for you each time a code comes out. That way you do not have to stress about it. Good luck!
I was wondering about this too. We have ressies at Pop and I know codes may come out in fall; question is...where should I watch? Mousesavers? DIS? WDW website? Who posts them first? TIA!
I saw it here first, but they say Mousesavers usually gets the news a day or so early. Most of the websites will post it in a very visible spot, so you cannot miss it if you check every other day or so. I think for our March trip, the code came out in early November and you had to book with the pin by December 1 or 2.
I highly recommend Dreams Unlimited, though. They do not charge you a fee as Disney pays them a commission. They are super nice and you get assigned a travel consultant that is with you the whole time. Poor Rhonda, my consultant, gets an email from me every day. She is even making my PS for me. They constantly check for new discounts without you asking, so if you cannot check for them each day, I would give them a try.
ssdeverell...a few questions about Dreams Unlimited....How much do you have to pay and when? I/We already have our 3 rooms reserved at Pop with down payments made...I wasn't going to by our MYW passes until fall. Could you share the website address please? Thanks!
The payments are made through their system directly to WDW, so it is the same downpayment (around $200) and the balance if due 45 days before the trip. This is for packages only. I think they can do room only ressies, too. In that case, it would be the same as what you have done now - usually one night down payment and rest due upon arrival. Since you have already done this, it may not be worth it for the hassle. However, it would not hurt to contact them and see if they can simply transfer the reservation to them - assuming you did not use another travel agent. The website it www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com.
