We will be at Disney for free dining early September 2009.

We have booked the 8:00 p.m. Category 2 seating for 3 adults at the Aloha Dinner Show. It would be 2 table credits per adult. I am thinking of paying for this dinner show and using my table credits elsewhere.

Are there any discounts available? The price per adult is $56.99 including tax and gratuity.

The Tables in Wonderland card would apply for the second show only, but from what I understand the card adds 18% gratuity before the 20% discount and the tax and gratuity is included in the $56.99 ticket price.

Is there a DVC discount, or Annual Pass discount for this dinner show?s

thanks

I don't believe they would charge you the gratuity 2x if you used the TiW card. I assume they would adjust for that in some way, but I don't know for sure since we didn't use our TiW card for the luau (we were there for the first show last week - Cat. 1 seating was great).

Thanks, did you enjoy your meal and the show.

I have read mixed reviews on this show but my family really wants to attend.

I was really pleasantly surprised. We loved the whole show. I didn't find it to be overly cheesy or anything, which I've read from some reviews. We enjoyed all the dancers and my DD got to get up and do the hula with all the kids. The fire dancer at the end was really awesome. And I don't think my review was colored by the $15 (!!) drink inside a souvenir carved coconut that I decided I had to have! ;)

The food was okay. My husband was really sick that day and wasn't even sure if he could make dinner until the last minute, so he ate just about nothing. My son ate so little that the waitress brought him hot dogs. Then my daughter (the better eater) decided she wasn't hungry! Good thing we enjoyed the show - I did enjoy what I ate. What are you going to do?

We had great Tier 1 seats - dead center, front row. I think you'll enjoy it. We liked it better than Hoop.
