Discounts around Christmas?

Has anyone recently stayed onsite around Christmas and were there any discounts available? Looking to book around 12/20-12/28. There arent any discounts released yet for that time of year but Im looking for past experiences. I am interested in staying deluxe, perhaps AKL Kidani Villas or WL Villas.

Depends on if you're going "around" Christmas or "during" Christmas.

In most recent years there have been discounts that generally end a few days prior to Christmas but if you can get a package discount and can check in prior to it ending you can get the discount for the entire stay.

But if you're hoping for discounts between Christmas Eve and New Years Day?... NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
And be aware that is the most expensive week to go. Room rates are at their highest and flight prices are at their highest.
Crowd levels are at their highest as well.

With Star Wars Galaxy's Edge opening and the already crazy Christmas crowds you'll be lucky to get a room. There an almost zero chance of a discount IMO. We've had our room booked for the Christmas season for 3 months already.
