Discounts and Pin codes

If I book my vacation and then a discount or pin code become available will I be able to apply it to my reservation? I have always booked after I have the discount, but I don't want to wait! Planning on 9-15-2012 @ Yacht Club

The more complicated answer is that there is a limited number of rooms available and some limit the resorts so to get the discount you might have to change resorts, etc...but yes, if you have booked a room/package and a discount is announced, you can add (or subtract, I guess) that to/from your reservation.

from what ive been told here, they cancel and remake a new reservation using the discount. if the rooms arent available(even though you HAD a reservation) at that resort with discount at time of reservtion then you would have to change resorts to get the discount?????


I dont hear of many booking pkgs then being able to apply the discount w/o any changes to their reservation(dates or location).....

wish this whole process could be explained simply. get a room only and adding tix,dine, and disounts at later date...... Can you do this???

Get a pkg reservation when available for booking and apply pins/discounts later......can you add discounts after you booked a pkg?????

Still having a hard time deciding which way to play it. we want may 2013 and pkgs dont come available till july/aug. just hate waitng till then and possibly not being able to apply any discounts etc.....

I do know you can make room only res(by calling) at 499 days out from stay!!!! so that means i could make room only res now instead of waiting. Told that if we want a pkg down the road that we would need to cancel and rebook as pkg. Doesnt quarantee your room choice of original reservation????????

being a May 2013 reservation i realize they normally dont do free dining in May... but seen 20-30% discounts on rooms... what would you do???
