For those not familiar with the website, I just had to post! I used them last year to buy a year of the Disney Magazine for $5.95 and Newsweek for $9.95 (wow!!). I just used them again to renew my current magazines:

Us Weekly - $51 through magazines.com, but only $28 through these guys.

FHM - $11.97 through FHM, $9.97 through magazines.com, only $5.95 through discountmagazines.com!

I also got a year of Maxim ($5.95) for the ol' fiance. :)

Thanks for the info. I just ordered Disney Magazine and Nick Jr Magazine for my 5 year old.....$11.90....Wow!

I'll also be renewing my subscription to Popular Science through this site for $5.95 when my current subscription expires.....

Thanks Again....

Thanks for the heads up! My DH loves Sporting News and I got it for only 5.95! We have ordered it before and it was like $79! Thanks so much!

WOW!!! Thanks for the heads up. I had never heard of them. I just ordered five subscriptions (including, of course, Disney Magazine!)

I ordered 2 years of Disney magazine and a few other magazines from Best Deal Magazines back in April.

I was instantly charged for the magazine and immediately started getting viagra, etc. emails from their advertisers. The ads go straight to my junk mail, so that part never bothered me.

I didn't receive any of the magazines. I contacted the company 10 weeks after I ordered and they told me I had to wait for 14 weeks before I could file anything. They also in an email asked me to please give them a chance and not do a chargeback. Blah Blah Blah.

Now it's been 4 months since I ordered and NONE of the magazines came.

I again had to forward my email with the original order to the company at a specific email address. The only thing I was told was to give them ANOTHER 14 WEEKS to process my order again.

Sure enough, my credit card was charged the following day AGAIN for the same magazines I originally ordered in April. I was charged twice 4 months apart for nothing.

I called my credit card company immediately and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I was really excited about receiving my magazines, too.

Has this happened to anyone else? Thumbs down for Best Deal Magazines.

Just be sure to read the small print on those super-cheap magazine subscription sites. The reason the subscriptions are so cheap is that they really just want all your personal information, which they will turn around and sell to anyone who will pay. Giving away magazine subscriptions is a cheap way to collect this info.

The privacy policy or terms and conditions on their sites usually state that by subscribing you are giving them permission to do whatever they want with your info.

If you give them an e-mail address, be sure it's one you've reserved just for junk mail, because you will be DELUGED with spam e-mails from this!

Two other places for cheap magazine subscriptions:

Ebay! I've ordered numerous magazine subscriptions from different sellers on Ebay and have never had a problem.

Http://www.freebizmag.com--You have to sign up and give them info on your job, etc. (OK, I just make stuff up!), but then you have the opportunity to subscribe to numerous absolutely free magazines. I get a solicitation for a free magazine from them about once every 2 weeks. Some I have no interest in, but others are great (House Beautiful, Country Living, Budget Living, etc.). Warning: they will also try to get you to give them your credit card info to pay for some "No-risk trial" magazines--don't do it! Just enjoy the freebies!

Wow disneysnowflake that is horrible customer service from BestDealMagazines! Luckily I've never had any problems with them and have always received the magazines I ordered.

That is an extremely good point about using a specific e-mail address just for junk mail for the freebie magazines.

http://www.magazinepricesearch.com/ is a good place to check for the lowest prices too

I've used bestdealmagazines.com before with only a little trouble once, but I've gotten all my magazines I've ordered.

I switched to buying on ebay. One seller in particular, userid of elenahume and store called AroundtheClock is very good. She won't sell your information to anyone. Watch out for sellers who have a cheap auction fee and then charge a steep S&H fee.

I actually was selling magazines on ebay and still have a store there (AStorybookStory) but I've slowed down because it is a bit of a pain, because the publishers change prices without notice, sometimes dramatically. I may start up again in the fall for Christmas.

I can't find Disney Adventures except at $11.97 is that about right? DD has been wanting me to renew.
