Discounted Tickets

Taking my first trip to Orlando this April and I'm wondering what is the best way to get Disney World/Universal Studio tickets. Everywhere I go online from AMA to Intervalinternational, the prices are almost the same.

I heard that if you buy from a Disney Store in Canada, you pay Canadian and so it's essentially cheaper. Is it true?

That's right - you save on the exchange, which means for pretty good savings with the dollar where it is right now! Definitely check out the Disney Store prices here in Canada first. We have also used the following websites successfully: www.undercovertourist.com and www.mapleleaftickets.com which provide some savings - tickets are shipped from the United States to you.

For Universal Studios tickets, depending on how many days you want I would suggest checking out the www.universalorlando.com website. They have a 7-day ticket for $94.99 US per person which is a really good deal compared to WDW ticket prices, and when you consider that one day tickets to Universal Studios cost almost that much.

Also, if you are a CAA member you might want to check out tickets there to see what discounts they currently are operating.

We are staying off-site for the first time. We usually stay in the cabins at Fort Wilderness.

You can only buy tickets at The Disney Store in Canada. They do not sell hotel packages.

Thanks, MouseGirl for the websites. However, the prices are almost the same across the board and they are in USD. I find the Canada Disney Store prices the lowest since you pay the same amount in CAD.
