Discounted Room Blackout Date

Hi.
I just saw that Disney released room only discount codes for 10/30-12/23, however MouseSavers states that the discount may not be available during 12/2/06-12/8/06. I was wondering if anyone might know if there is something going on those days. I was planning to be there 12/2-12/6 for the holiday happenings.

I believe those are the dates for the Pop Warner groups. Plus that weekend is the Christmas parade taping. There is little to no availability during that timeframe, therefore, Disney will not discount the rooms because they are full. Disney only discounts rooms to fill them. No need for that timeframe. I believe the mousefest folks will be there during that timeframe too.

these dates are VERY booked. I am paying Rack Rate at the Poly. I have tried several times to change and only thing avail was a suite at the CR (this is monorail line). I then started checking mods and values and they are also very very booked. No need for WDW to discount them.
