Is it possible to get last minute deals on vacation homes in May? I'm considering waiting till closer to March or even April before booking our vacation home for the last 4 nights of our trip (after the rest of the extended family leaves - we can't afford to stay in the 7 bedroom we're renting for that first week.)
Will there be open availability or am I pushing my luck? I'm new to renting a house. I see a lot of specials going on now to try to fill homes before the end of the year, but is that because this isn't the most popular season to be going?
