Seeing that DL just raised their prices, does anyone have any ideas on where people might be able to buy discounted tixs?

I just called Vons and they had some but they were basically park hoppers that expire in June.

Costco doesn't seem to sell them anymore.

I believe the military base may sell them.

Can anybody think of any other options or can you confirm some other options? This maybe helpful to others as well. Thanks.

ARES has lower prices than both GAT and that gift card site, I've used ARES in the past and purchased our PHs through them for our upcoming visit.

ETA ~ for 2 day PHs, ARES is the better deal, for others you'll have to check, 6 day PHs are lower priced through GAT.

Our AAA office sells 3 and 5 day park hoppers at a discount. Entertainment card members (you can buy the book at entertainment.com) also can buy at a discount. That ended up being the cheapest for the 4 day park hoppers we needed, even with a bunch of "taxes and fees" added on, even less than getawaytoday.

Right, but you can't get APs through Ares. I just ordered current APs from giftcardmall this morning so they still seem to be available there.

Are you sure? I just checked and GAT is $15.00 cheaper for the 6 day PH w/ MM ticket! Maybe I'm wrong but GAT seems cheaper? How much are ARES fees? Anyways thanks for the heads up about ARES never heard of them.

For our 2 day PHs, I saved 3 bucks :dance3:

However, you're right, for a 6 day hopper GAT is the better deal.

Make sure you enter the dates you'll be there on GAT. It might be at the cheaper price because it goes up sometime at the end of this month or the beginning of next.
We made that mistake once and had to pay the difference at the gate. Lesson learned.

Check your company website (if they have one) or ask your employer if they offer this perk. Our DDIL discover that her company offered a corporate discount and was able to get 4 day Park Hoppers with Magic Morning for $210.00 (good until the end of the year) a very nice savings.:wizard:

I should have bought the discounted tickets. They raised the price! I didn't think that offer would expire this year, but I just checked and it went up. :sad1: Anyone find a good discount out there for 2-day hoppers?

I actually saw some of the pre-price hike 2-day hoppers at my local Safeway yesterday. They were $173 for adults 9+ and $161 for children 3-9. Now they're $200/$188, so it saves a little.

Giftcardmall.com does not offer APs any more on their website.

They did when I originally posted the link.
At this late in the game, I imagine it will be difficult to find an AP at the old price. You may be able to locate one at a Safeway or Vons in your area, but I know alot of them are getting the new AP's with the new prices now.

I had bookmarked the site myself and they also had the APs at the old rate, and this is around Memorial Day. However, when I looked the other day, the link is no longer valid and when I did a search on Disneyland, nothing came up.

Some of the local markets in my area still have the old APs (I picked one up on Friday), and am going to check today to pick up the remaining that I need. There is only one market that I saw with the new APs, and that one did not have any of the old ones anyway whenever I checked.

I just saw 3 day Hopper gift cards at my local Fred Meyer's with the old prices and they didn't expire until December 31, 2012.
