Discounted Annual Passes - Information and Official Exchange Thread

I wonder why some Mickey Monitors are coming with the passes and some are not? My DH and I each got the passes (all have been mailed out to fellow DIS members as of yesterday.) We've been A/P holders for awhile though. I wonder if they are sending the cards to people who have had A/P's for longer than a certain time? I don't know if Disney even tracks that info, if they could tell that AP's have been renewed several times vs. people with brand new A/P's. Otherwise it makes no sense why some would get the discount coupons (passes) and others not.

I haven't read any posts where people have received Mickey Monitors without the passes -- I have read where people haven't received their Monitors yet though. And that is just how the Monitors are mailed out.

I have added to Post #1 what to do if you have bought the passes within the time frame, did not have a referral card with you, and cannot return before July 31, 2009.

I have my mickey monitor, just got it today, and there are NO coupons attached. I wonder why I didn't gt any???

We don't need to buy ours until December, is there a certain date you have to purchase AP's using the coupons?

I have two copies of the monitor and cannot find any coupons. Where are they ? I could use some coupons if anyone has extra.

so let me get this straight, in order to get a 10% discount on new Annual passes, you have to get referred by a current annual pass memeber? I am a florida resident, could i get the 10% without knowing an annual pass member?

Buying AP's for first time this year! Would need 3 if possible...but any would be appreciated.

Does anyone know of a way to get the credit retroactively? Supposedly, the discount and gift card began on May 3. I bought an AP on May 3 and no one mentioned it to me. DH even had to present his AP, which began last October, because she needed the DVC # and I forgot my card. With our luck, we'll get home and find the coupon in the Mickey Monitor. So any chance, or are we SOL (Sugar Out of Luck).

We are in the same position. I have and AP and was with my son on Sat May 2 and no mention of the offer. The CM knew I was already an AP holder as well!! I still haven't received the Monitor so no coupons!! I have emailed WDW to see how my son can receive his discount. I can't understand how WDW can make this type of offer that starts prior to any info being mailed or received or even mentioned!! I called yesterday (the ticket info line) and the CM answering didn't even know of the offer. Then I asked him to check with someone since it's on the WDW website and he came back and only said I had to wait until May 11 and call then if I haven't received the Monitor. I'm really upset somewhat since we live in NJ and the website states in the Q&A that you have to go back with your receipt and card to Guest RElations!! Not easy if you are not local to WDW!! Hopefully WDW will answer my email and I will post. I just really don't understand why no mention either.

No you need to have the pass to get the extra savings - but just post here and someone will likely send you a savings card.
