I am in the very early hopeful pre-pre-planning stage...

Considering a trip with 2 days at Universal, 1 day at Legoland, 1 day at Disneyquest and 1 day at Disney (DHS).

Are there any discounts for 1-day tickets (non-hopper)? Most sites seem to offer discounted tickets starting a 3-day tickets.

Thanks for your help!

The only ticket I have even seen for 1 day WDW at a discounted rate is thru the Florida Hospital for Children:

Hope that helps.

WoW thanks for that! I was just there last month when my mom had her surgery... I could've got my summer tickets!

I didn't see on the web site anything about the Disney gift giving program. Is it something you have to ask for, or does it just automatically kick if you reach certain giving levels?

Have you tried this link:

http://www.floridahospitalforchildren.com/donate/donate-tickets

There is a "Make Your Donation Now" link. There is also a number for you to call.

If people are in the area, the gift shop also usually has some discounted tickets. It would be best to call to make sure they have them before you go though.

I should also mention the lobby of the Walt Disney Pavillion is AMAZING for kids! There was always a guy playing the guitar and disney music pumping through the speakers (had to walk past thru/pass it) to get to the cafeteria. There is a lion king area where you "play" with bugs, there is a "pool" on the floor under flounder and sebastian and moose from brother bear are at the top.Now if I can figure out how to post the video/pics from my phone.....;)

Is this considered a tax deductible charitable contribution?

You would have to consult with your tax advisor for sure but I thought only the $$ above what something would normally cost is a tax deduction.

For example, not using actual numbers here, a 1 day ticket to WDW costs $90. Since you are only paying $85 none of that would be tax deductible since the value of what you are getting actually exceeds the donation.

I am NOT a tax advisor, but this is how I understood it to be.

Thank you for posting this. We may need just a one day ticket if we do a non-Disney Orlando trip or Disney cruise in the near future because I am sure we will want to spend at least a day at the Magic Kingdom and being able to support this children's hospital in the process will be great. :thumbsup2

Is this at the location in Celebration? We will be picking up some tickets there in June, and I'd love to see that. :goodvibes
