I am sure that this question has been answered here or on another thread but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. I have found that you can save money by purchasing tickets from other sites such as Undercover Tourist. Is it possible to have these tickets transfered to your room key and charging account when you check in to your resort? It is handy to have these items combined to one card. I asked a rep from DVC and she advised that she didn't know. I realize that DVC probably wont comment on outside purchases, but it was wort a try. Thanks

No, they won't transfer these separate tix to your room key. Depending on the type of ticket you get, you really wouldn't want them to. We always get 10, PH/NE tix; this time I bought a WPFM add-on for me because DH has 4 "plusses" left on a PH from a bazillion years ago (those never expire, the old PH).

As a DVC member, I think the best ticket value for someone who is not going to go for 10 per year is the 10 NE pass. Of course, if you are going more than 10 days within a calender year, the DVC AP is the best deal.

Just make sure to photocopy your ticket-backs and keep a few copies of each one in different places (i.e. at home, safe deposit box, with you on trip). I also love the idea of someone taking a picture and storing it on some type of memory media. Gotta have that back info to get tix reprinted if something happens to them.

I am not sure of the answer for DVC members. Not sure why it would be different but my understanding is that you can do this. I have seen many people say they have done this. I would go over to the Theme Park Planning board and ask there. Chesire Figment has a lot of know about the ticket media and would be able to tell you for sure. I would mention that you are DVC and staying at a DVC resort, though I can't think why you wouldn't be able to do that. Good luck! I think it is much easier to have everything on one card.

Yes, you can do this. We purchased our 10 day Hopper passes for our Dec. 2008 trip from Undercover Tourist. When we checked into our resort, we had them placed onto our room key. I agree, it is much easier to carry around one card vs. multiple cards.

We did this last time, no problems.
Just check in and take your room keys to the concierge and they will take care of it, unless something has changed since my last trip.

I always take a photo of ours too plus the photo pass card

Not sure if anyone can answer this question about tickets. I have 3 children 5, 8 & 10. Considering purchasing Non-Expiring Tix. How would it work for my 8 yr old if he eventually was to turn 10 and not be considered a child anymore and I still have days on that ticket, could I use that ticket for my 5 yr old? I obviously don't want to waste money on tickets I will not be able to use. Anyone come across this?

I don't have first hand experience of this yet - but purchased a 10 day NE/PH last year for my 8 year old son (and the rest of the family) and was told that he could use it until all the days were used up. I believe that I was advised to go to Town Hall and give them his card and they would "update" it when it was time free of charge. I haven't done this yet as we haven't been back since that trip, but will attempt this next time we go.

Go to any Guest Services window and they will re-issue an adult ticket for any remaining days.
