I've looked at some older threads mentioning this, but has anyone had any recent experience with buying discount Disneyland tickets at Lastminutetravel.com? I'd love to save the $10+ bucks a person, but if the tickets don't work, then the savings will be replaced by a giant headache.

I'm having a blast planning our 2 days in DL in October and this board has been a huge help! ;) Thank you to all of you!

Why wouldn't they work? We used them last July *2009 and I purchased our PHs for our upcoming visit months ago.

I used them this trip (Thurs 9/15) and also got the premium dining vouchers which saved us $ at Ariel's Grotto. Totally would use them again. Minor hassle of stopping at ticket booth first is worth the $60-80 we saved.

I am thinking about using the vouchers. Are they good at any meal? Do you have to order for a specific date?

Where is the ticket booth?

Thanks
Julia

Is that how you get the tickets, by picking them up at a ticket booth? Does that mean they don't mail them to you?

Can you pick them up at the ticket booth the night before, or does it have to be that morning? We will be checking into our motel the night before, so walking across the street to the ticket booth will be no hassle if I can do it the night before.

Thanks for the confidence - I'm happy people have had good luck with them. And standing in the booth line isn't a big deal at all to me, so I'll be going with those discount tix.

I bought our PHs and Premium Dining vouchers earlier this week. I had to pick what day I wanted the dining voucher for. (I had already made the PS reservations, so it was no problem). You have to put in the names of all of the people who are going, BTW.

I got the vouchers right away (like minutes after I booked!), and it looks like I just have to take it to the ticket booth.

I was a little nervous too, based on some of old reviews, but everyone recently seems to have had good luck. I certainly will be able to figure out how to spend the money we saved in the parks (churros, perhaps?)!

Where do I find the Dining vouchers? Are they included in the ticket price that is listed on lastminutetravel, or do they cost extra?

Make sure you put the date that you want to pick them up vs the first day that you want to use the tickets and it should be no problem. I just used LMT and am hoping to just get them when we check into the Grand Californian. I saved a total of $120 using LMT vs Disney 'special' prices. What I don't understand is how they can be so much cheaper since Disney always says they don't discount to anyone :confused3

They're under the activities tab (which is at the top of the page), as I recall. Just keep scrolling down and you'll find them. They have regular character dining and premium dining. They're listed as different items, so make sure you get the one you want/need.
