If the Disney Direct pin sales are only semi-annual, that won't help anyone who wants pins in the next 5 or 6 months. FWIW, I bought some pins during the Disney Direct sale in May, but the cheapest ones were $3.95 each - and they are HUGE. They all came from Disney Auctions, and are easily twice as big as the "normal" Disney pins. They're really pretty, and I'll be taking them along for trading, but they're definitely too heavy to wear on a lanyard. Many of them have two prongs and clasps, and I've read a number of posts here about them falling off and getting lost at the park. They'll ride along in my backpack.njziggy said:
