Discount on NEXT trip while staying at Disney?

My husband and I have heard that if you book your next trip while currently staying at Disney, we can get a 40% discount. If this doesn't make sense, here's what I mean: we'll be in Disney next week. While there, if we book our NEXT trip, we could get 40% discount for that next trip. Is this true? Thanks.

Disney has been offering Bounceback Offers to those staying on Disney property. The offers range from Free Dining to 20% off to 40% off depending on when you are going. There should be a flyer in your room and/or information on the resort TV channel. If you can't find info that way, ask at the Lobby Concierge. You need to book before you check out and put down the $200 deposit.

These "Bounceback" deals are offered at various times, but not always. Terms and discounts or other incentives like free dining can vary. We've been to WDW multiple times but have yet to be offered a Bounceback deal.

Four trips this year and there has been some sort of bounceback deal in the hotel room each trip. If there is not a flyer in your room during your stay, call the front desk and ask them, call the concierge desk and ask them, heck, check out the housekeeping cart and see if they have the flyer. In May I had a flyer for values and mods, but called to see if it would apply to deluxes and it did. Got Boardwalk for a VERY good rate. In August it was the free dining bounceback for the next year. In September it was still the free dining bounceback for the next year. Curious to see what December holds.

The last bounceback promotion ended on 10/24. Currently there is no offer. We were there until 10/31 and no offers were available. We checked the front desk and the resort info TV channel watching for any new bounceback offers. So OP keep in mind while there are often bounceback offers, it's not guaranteed that there will be one during your stay. However, if you do get an offer, please post back the details.

We checked in on the 25th, the free dining bounce back offer ended on the 24th. Unfortunately, no new bounce back offer was offered during our stay (checked out on 11/2). I had been hoping, but oh well.

We are going back for Thanksgiving, but won't be staying onsite. So no second chances for us. Hoping for a pin now.
