I'm at work and can't take the time to do a search but my sister is wondering if she can get a AAA discount on a suite at All Star Music. I told her I didn't think so but wanted to check with people who are in the know! I also told her I don't think any code discounts could be used on a suite there either. Anyone know? TIA.

At the time we made our reservations (a few months ago), we were told that there were no discounts available (AAA or otherwise) for the ASMu family suites.

I wonder if I could get a cast member discount at All Star Music Suites, my sil is a cast member :surfweb:

My AAA TA made my reservation and I got the 20% discount on the room only portion of my package for the ASMusic Suites. Of course I was only able to get it on the days that are during the Value portion of the trip, but there are only 2 nights I didn't get the discount on.

From posts earlier this week :cutie: :

It used to be that they were never discounted, but back in June safetymom answered a post here on the DIS with this info so now could be, maybe, sometimes? :confused3 : :goodvibes

The last two discounts that Disney released were available for the Family Suites.

There is high demand so there may not be any available but don't give up hope yet.

and then these other DISers added:

When I check the AP rates for my dates in Sept for a moderate, I keep getting the family suites. The AP price is $140.00 per nite. I have been tempted at that price.

I agree, I too kept getting the family suites when searching the AP rates for September. I was probably because the free dining took up alot of regular rooms and the family suites were not part of the free dining, so those rooms were left unbooked. I hope they continue to offer a discount on these suites as they are a great new option. I kept getting $140 a night value rate for the suites for September (before tax).
From reading on here and talking to my travel agent, I learned that the ASMu family suites are pretty popular and are never included when there are discount codes available.

Well, in chatting with Disney booking CM today, he said that WAS the case, but now (since around July of this year) he is seeing the suites qualify for more and more of the discounts. WAHOO!!!!!

Just wanted to pass that bit of info along. :)

Yes, I am booking a suite for January and the CM told me today that they are now offering discounts for the suites. YEAH!!!

I booked the ASMu family suites for 2 nights this month for 140/night with an AP discount.

Can't wait to try them out:thumbsup2 !

Hi all
I just called Disney and booked one of the All Star Music Family Suites and got a AAA discount (last week in August 2008).:cool1:
I figured it couldn't hurt to go ahead and snag it in case no other discounts come available. If by chance free dining comes along I can try for that instead but at least I have a decent rate for now.
BTW, does anyone know how much my actual AAA room rate might be?!! I was just given the grand total with ALL taxes and fees for 6 nights as $998.

We are a family of 5 (two adults, three pre-teens) and have only stayed on property once, at the Poly. We loved it, but in reality it was mostly because of the large room, queen beds, and the fireworks from the beach at night (and we got free dining that year to make it slightly affordable!). I figured for the $ difference per night we could easily have a rental car as well as dinner at a Poly restaurant a few nights and walk out to the beach for the fireworks!
