Discount on AP Question

I just found out I am going to a conference in May. My mom is going to tag along for the free hotel....we are leaving the kids behind this trip!!!! =) Anyway, I have purchased an AP for me, DH & older DD. My youngest DD won't need one for another 6 months. Can I purchase an AP at the DVC discounted rate for my DM or do they not allow this? We were not going to, but since she is adding this trip and we have a long one planned in Dec an AP seems to make sense.

Your mother will have to provide legal documentation (ie. driver's license) that she lives at the same address as you. If she doesn't she isn't entitled to the discount that members get.

Since you have the two trips you might want to check out Undercover tourist or ticket mania for her ticket and get the 10 day non expiring PH. to save a few dollars over the gate price. I think we saved about $40-45 on my DGDs for our Dec. trip.

If there are more than 10 days total between the two trips then the AP makes more sense in the long run even if it costs a little more.

Since we will be faced with this shortly, what about our 13 year old daughter? She doesn't have any ID and she's not listed as an owner on our DVC contract. Is there anything special we need to do in order to get her AP at the discounted adult price?

As she most likely won't have a gov't ID of any kind (unless she has a passport or school ID) they will issue her pass as long as you are present and list her address as the same as yours.
