Discount Magic Kingdom Tickets--PLEASE HELP

Hi everyone I'm new here and hoping some of you can help me out. I am a Florida resident and am having family stay with us in July. We are planning to go to Magic Kingdom and Epcot and would like a 2 day option, though 3 would be OK. There will be a total of 4 adults and one child under 10. I was just on Disney's website and my head is literally spinning. My understanding is that I cannot purchase discounted tickets for my relatives since proof of residency is required at the gate. Tickets for my husband and myself are very reasonable with our Florida discount, but for my parents and neice, tickets are turning out to be more than we had anticipated. I had heard that AAA offers discounts, but again I do not know whether I can purchase them for my out of state relatives. Can anyone please help me with some discount ticket advice? I would so very much appreciate it!

hi. welcome to the DIS.... you do need proof of residency for florida resident tickets. have you tried looking at ticketmania? www.ticketmania.com i have bought and used tickets from them with no problems. they are a reputable discount ticket agent. worth a shot.

The AAA discount is pretty minimal, and the AAA travel stores usually only stock certain ticket variaties (day and options combinations). I believe if you need something they don't stock they can order it for you, though. When I priced it out it looked like TicketMania was the better deal for us.
