Discount for DVC members bookng room with cash?

I would like to add a few nights at the Poly onto our next trip as a surprise for my DH, but don't want to pay with points as they're so extortionate! Do DVC members get a discount when making a cash reservation? Any idea what the rate for a lagoon view room in Jan is?

DVC members do not get a discount at non-DVC resorts. You can probably get a discount with an AP or Code rate, January discounts are not out yet.

Rack rate is $385 a night (plus 11% tax). Figure the maximum discount would be 40% and most likely in the 20-25% range.
