Discount Disney Merchandise.

While at WDW we always used to stop off property at an outlet store that carried discounted Disney stuff ( think last year's t-shirts, overstocks, etc). Is there any similar places near DL?

If you mean park licensed Disney products, they send it all to their own outlets now. I was at the closest outlet, The Citadel, which is 20 miles away. It wasn't worth the trip. They had 2 pins, one was the original price, $14.99 and the other was $9.99, originally $11.99. The only ears they had were Christmas sequin headbands, $23.99, not sure what the original cost was. They had some discontinued SW toys, they weren't all discounted, some were still full price. Most of the clothes were toddler sized, the few adult shirts were all XS and Small. Fortunately I wasn't there just for Disney, but it wasn't worth the trip to save a few dollars.

If you just want some new shirts to wear to Disney, there are WalMart and Target nearby, but it's worth looking online and at home before you leave.

I've had great success with the Disney Outlet located here in Phoenix. They get DLR stuff in all the time, and it's always a minimum of 50% off the price at the parks. There is a Disney Outlet store at the Cabazon outlet mall, but it's on the I-10 a good hour or more away from DLR.
