Discount Confussion

I've already booked our Dec vacation but have been trying to get one of the pins I've been hearing so much about. I haven't had any luck but I had DH call a little while ago. He was told that there was already a discount on our reservation (and that we didn't have any other discounts available right now). I didn't know what he was talking about. When I booked I booked at rack. So I called to ask myself and was told that I have a discount on the reservation and that it's for a % off but she couldn't see what % it was. However, the rate is exactly what I was originally quoted and what's listed online when I search for a reservation on our dates. Could this just be a discount on the room changing the rate from peak to off-peak season? The rate we're getting is definitely rack for off-peak.

Hard to say without knowing details. Maybe he misinterpreted something that was said. Could be the CM meant your res is getting a discount (or price break) if you have a dining plan. Not to say the DDP is discounted. But suppose it could be understood as a discount over paying OOP. Just guessing. But really hard to say what was meant or interpreted.
