Discount-checking in on Dec. 23rd??

Has anyone had any luck getting the package discount checking in on Dec. 23rd?

We are looking to check in on the 23rd for a week over Christmas break. What kind of rate can I expect at a value resort...

We did! We are staying at CBR Dec. 23-29th, 2 adults and DS 17 and DD 14, with dining and 6 day park hoppers using the Disney Visa code that came out last month. Regular price was 3193 and we got the package for 2585.76.

Not to go too far off topic, but we were considering checking in Dec. 21(getting in on package deal) and staying untill the 26th. Does anyone know how the crowd levels are? I know New Years Eve and Day are quite packed. Sorry to get off topic but I posted in another area without any response. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tink
