We always fly into SNA. We have gotten to and from the airport in many ways.
1. Rental car is expensive for our budget. Once we get to
Disneyland Resorts, we usually do not leave the area.
2. January 2010 we used Super Shuttle. For 5 people it was $100 round trip from SNA to Grand Californian Hotel. I have no complaints with super shuttle. A nice roomy mini van was exclusive for us. Once we loaded up we were on our way. Didn't have to wait to fill the vehicle.
3. "24-7 Ride" we used last month for the trip from SNA to GCH. $38 and again the mini van was exclusive for us, this time there were only 3 of us. The driver was there in less than 5minutes to pick us up once we made it out to the transit center. No complaints with 24-7 Ride.
4. The return trip to SNA we used a FlatRate Cab voucher I pickup from Bell Services. Mini van $35 for the trip. Mini van exclusive for us.
Out of the different transportation options we have used, I prefer the cab FlatRate voucher. Mainly because I do not like to mess with scheduling the rides back and forth. I like the idea of walking out to the transit center at SNA and catching a cab. Bingo, we're on our way. Same thing when it's time to go to the airport. Cabs are lined up right out the front door of the hotel. Very reasonable rates.
Since using the Cab options was a first for us this last trip, each time, before getting in the cab I confirmed, "It's FLAT RATE of $XX for trip" Just to be sure.
Hope you find something that works for you.
