Discount after Full Payment?

Will Disney honor a discount after full payment? For example, if it is inside the 45 day window (thus paid in full), if a promotion becomes available, and you request that the new discount be applied, will Disney apply that discount and credit your account via room credit or gift card, etc. ? I know prior to being paid in full, they have allowed me to switch discounts and have even priced out which would be cheaper and suggested different accomodations.

They will usually apply the discount, and refund the difference to whatever source you used to pay for it. It may take a couple of months to see the refund though.

It doesn't take a few months to see the credit if you used a debit card or
Gift card to pay. It takes a few days. It might take until
Your next billing cycle if you used a credit card. But if at any time prior to your trip, a discount comes out that applies to your dates they will apply it and refund the difference. But usually any discount is not going to come out for travel so soon as in your 45 day window. The discounts are normally for dates that are much farther out than 45 days.
