Disconnected Fastpasses

our last trip to DLR some of the Fastpasses were disconnected from the system so you could hold more than one at a time. Are there currently any disconnected fastpasses?

Last time I heard it was WOC in DCA and Buzz in DL.

Buzz? I've never seen fast passes for Buzz Lightyear - are you meaning a different ride?

Edit: I just read they added a fast pass for Buzz! Weird. We've never had to wait long for that ride even during busy times with a long line. It goes so fast. When did they add the fast pass?

No it is Buzz. The fp machine is right next to the Star Tours ones. Before the complete redo of Star Tours those machines were all Buzz fps

It can be a little confusing.....
The bank of FP machines are across from Star Tours.
As you enter the machine area the first ones are for Star Tours FP's.
I believe it's the very last one that is for Buzz Lightyear.

The signage wasn't too good the last time I went to pull FP's.

If you have any questions, there is a CM right at the entrance for Buzz. I'm sure they would be able to help you.

Yes, Buzz was the very last FP machine and there is a Buzz CM standing at the entrance for FP returns who lets people know. I was going in to get Star Tours FP when she said loudly, "Buzz FP are the last machine." It was a surprise to me, as I hadn't researched here what the new disconnected FP are now.

Note that when we returned to use our FP, the first CM at the entrance let us in, but there wasn't a second CM collecting FP. So we just had to merge into the line, to the annoyed looks of the stand-by guests.

I know where they are, but I am wondering WHEN they started them again. We usually go several times a year but haven't been since September and I don't remember them being there then.

They returned early June last year (2015) as I recall.

ETA: And to add to above comments, it's the last two machines that distribute Buzz FPs. Not just the last one.

Good to know. My understanding was only the last one. :)

This varies. They do sometimes use the last two machines, but it seems there are times, perhaps at a guess when it's more crowded, they use only the last machine. They were only using one fastpass machine for Buzz when we were there during New Year's for example.

When it is extremely busy, I have seen them disconnect Haunted Mansion as well as Big Thunder. These are trickier as you have to look at the bottom of the fast pass for it to say that.

What would it say?

Haven't seen this for quite a while now, more than a year at least, maybe two years, but I do remember those being temporarily disconnected at some point. Anyway, our last four trips were New Year's, Thanksgiving 2015, the week in June and July including July 4, 2015, and New Year's 2015, all very busy times. The only disconnected ride fastpass I remember lately is Buzz.

I can't remember the exact day in November that I was lucky enough for Haunted to be disconnected, but I think in December it was the 28th and Thunder/Haunted were both disconnected in the afternoon. I cant really speak to how long they were set like that or even why. Crowd level makes sense but I just cant imagine too many people actually noticing considering sometimes it feels like half the park doesn't understand the concept of fast passes to begin with.

I was there during New Years and I saw both running. Both were also running during Thanksgiving. Perhaps it's also related to time of day? Because I've never seen only one machine running, but it could be the time I'm over there. I usually don't hit the area until later in the day.
