DIScon 2002 attendees (and anyone who was at WDW in Dec 2002)

For my December 2002 visit to WDW, I made the effort to find out the names of every DISer who would there at the same time as myself so that I could give them a personalized DIS button. I made over 200 buttons and managed to find nearly 75% of them and give them their button. This leaves me with over 50 buttons that I have been moving from place to place in my house for over 3 years. So here is my plea to you. If you see a button that has your DIS name in the following photo and if you would like me to send it to you, send me a PM with your name, your DIS name, and an address where you would like me to send the button, and I will drop it in the mail for you.

Sadly there has been at least one person for whom I made a button that passed away before I could deliver their button. As I am not always keenly aware of all the comings and goings of the DIS, if there is anyone in the photo who is no longer living or no longer associated with the DIS, please send me a PM to let me know.

I will keep the buttons around until June after which time I will drop them in the recycle bin at work. Thanks for your help at my efforts at spring cleaning.

Wow, I see some familiar old names John! I remember you making the buttons for the event too. I attended in spirit - I had a Discon buddy - Dixie Dreamer.

I also had a Discon Bud, PatnMn. It wasn't the same as being there, but I loved the thought. The pictures of "me" (Mickey) on the different rides was so precious!! All the DisCon Buds did those of us who couldn't be there such a great service

I see a lot of familiar names too. I'll see if any of them are over on the WISH board and I think I recognize some from the Cooking/Craft/Scrapbooking board. If I find them, I'll send them a PM with the link to this thread for you John! I saw my button a few weeks ago when I was going through my antenna toppers.

I still have a button lime green from my dec 2002 trip but I don't think you made it. I know this is terroble but i can't remember who did.I still wear mine when I go too
